An endless source of inspiration, the UK has a huge range of habitats with a precious diversity of flora and fauna. Mostly focusing on the birdlife of the island, Ben lives in the heart of the English countryside. 

Pen and Ink Drawings

'Drawing is the most important part of Painting'. Ben's drawings help him explore the form and shape of animals before producing his paintings, however he is also drawn to pen & ink and has made numerous such studies.

Africa and Other Studies

Away from his home in Central Britain, Ben has explored many other countries and environments for inspiration, from the tundra to the rainforest and from the Americas to Continental Europe and deepest Africa.
